Machining Operations Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Machining Supervisor to join our team at PG Classic Restoration Parts L PG Classic EN. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for overseeing the machining operations and ensuring the highest quality standards are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Estimate costs and materials for machining operations
  • Operate CADD and other computer software systems to optimize production
  • Prepare production reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement
  • Recruit and hire workers and carry out related staffing actions to maintain a skilled team
  • Train or arrange for training to ensure employees have the necessary skills to perform their duties
  • Co-ordinate and schedule activities to meet production deadlines
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed in the machining department
  • Oversee the operation of company machinery and equipment
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed
  • Set up machines and equipment for production
  • Supervise workers and projects to ensure timely completion and high-quality results
Requirements
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a machining or manufacturing environment
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality standards
