About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Machining Supervisor to join our team at PG Classic Restoration Parts L PG Classic EN. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for overseeing the operation of our machining department, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Estimate costs and materials for production projects
  • Operate CADD and other computer software systems to manage production workflows
  • Prepare production reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement
  • Recruit and hire workers and carry out related staffing actions to ensure adequate staffing levels
  • Train or arrange for training to ensure that all team members have the necessary skills to perform their duties
  • Co-ordinate and schedule activities to ensure that production deadlines are met
  • Ensure that health and safety regulations are followed in the workplace
  • Oversee the operation of the machining department, including the setup and maintenance of equipment
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed
Requirements
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a machining or manufacturing environment
  • College/CEGEP education in a relevant field
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Organized and able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work in a team environment and provide leadership and guidance to team members
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a dynamic and fast-paced manufacturing environment. The work will involve working in a shop setting, with regular exposure to machinery and equipment.
