Job Title: Farm Labourer

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Farm Labourer to join our team at Keresturi Farms Ltd. in a seasonal position.

Job Description:Work Site Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced outdoor environment, exposed to various weather conditions, including wet, dusty, and hot conditions.

Work Setting

The position is based in a rural area, and the candidate will be required to work independently and as part of a team.

Tasks
  • Clean the crops to ensure high-quality produce
  • Clear and collect brush and debris from fields, pens, and other work areas
  • Clear fields of wood and stones to maintain a safe working environment
  • Hand harvest vegetables and other crops
  • Plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops to ensure optimal growth
  • Sort fruits and vegetables to meet market standards
  • Weeding to prevent crop damage and promote healthy growth
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities

The successful candidate will be required to work in a physically demanding environment, handling heavy loads, and standing for extended periods. They must also be able to bend, crouch, kneel, and walk for long periods.

Weight Handling

The candidate will be required to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) on a regular basis.
