Hansra Law is seeking a highly skilled Business Paralegal - Franchise Expert to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will provide strategic legal and business advice to clients, draft legal contracts and agreements, and assist with corporate filings and entity registrations.

We are looking for a self-starter who is passionate about helping businesses and franchisees succeed. If you have a strong background in business and franchise law, excellent communication skills, and a keen eye for detail, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic legal and business advice to clients
  • Draft legal contracts and agreements
  • Assist with corporate filings and entity registrations
  • Manage and update our precedent database with new types of contracts and custom-drafted clauses
  • Follow up with clients on a regular basis to check in on their business and provide support
Requirements
  • Licensed paralegal in Ontario
  • 3+ years of experience in business, franchise, or commercial transactional law
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple clients and matters
  • Proficiency in Word and Excel, and knowledge of computerized calendaring and task management
