At Courtyard Marriott Montreal Centre-Ville, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food and Beverage Supervisor to join our team.

Job Summary:

The Food and Beverage Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food and beverage outlets, including the restaurant, banquets, room service, bar lounge, and Coffee Shop. This role requires a strong leader who can manage teams, ensure excellent customer service, and maintain high standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage restaurant, banquet, room service, hotel bar lounge service, and Coffee Shop teams on the floor.
  • Ensure the proper functioning of operational and administrative needs to achieve performance indicators.
  • Enforce procedures and service standards established by Rimap Hospitality Services and Marriott.
  • Participate in employee schedule development while respecting collective agreements.
  • Support the director in operational and administrative tasks.
  • Develop action plans for different periods of the year.
  • Manage guest issues and respond professionally.
  • Become familiar with all products, including dishes, alcohols, spirits, and wines.
  • Plan and organize departmental meetings.
  • Enforce health and safety policies when handling food and drinks.
  • Participate in committees.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Food and Beverage Supervisor in a unionized hotel.
  • Managerial experience in a high-volume F&B establishment.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of point-of-sale systems required.
  • Diploma in hotel management or related field.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  • Reliability and schedule flexibility.
  • Bilingual French/English.
