Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Payroll Administrator to join our team at SK Immigration & Law. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing statements of earnings, performing clerical duties, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Payroll Processing
    • Prepare statements of earnings for employees, indicating gross and net salaries and deductions such as taxes, union dues, garnishments, and insurance and pension plans.
    • Reconcile issued payrolls to bank statements and prepare period-end reports.
  • Clerical Duties
    • Maintain filing systems and perform data entry.
    • Compile statistics and reports.
  • Benefits Administration
    • Complete and submit documentation for the administration of benefits such as pension plans, leaves, share savings, employment, and medical insurance.
    • Inform employees about payroll matters and benefit plans.
  • Record Keeping
    • Maintain records of employee attendance, leave, and overtime to calculate pay and benefit entitlements, using manual or computerized systems.
Requirements
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Experience an asset.
  • Or equivalent experience.
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
