Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team in the Psychiatry specialty area. As a Nurse Practitioner in this role, you will be responsible for assessing the physical and psychosocial status of clients, diagnosing illnesses and physical conditions, and performing therapeutic and corrective measures.

Responsibilities
  • Assess clients' physical and psychosocial status through interview, health history, physical examination, and diagnostic tests.
  • Diagnose illnesses and physical conditions, and develop treatment plans.
  • Perform therapeutic and corrective measures, including medication management and counseling.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
  • Document client information and treatment plans in accordance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • New York State License and current registration to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse.
  • Certification by the New York State Education Department in the Psychiatry specialty area.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
