Families Plus Social Worker

Family Service is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing professional therapy and educational programs throughout Nova Scotia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver the Families Plus program, an intensive home-based client-centered program
  • Work with families and children, utilizing skills in child development, community resources, and child welfare systems
  • Provide trauma and violence-informed support, utilizing a strong theoretical framework and therapeutic skill set

Requirements:

  • Master's of Social Work degree or Bachelor's degree with 2-3 years of experience
  • Membership in good standing with NSCSW
  • Clear police background check and child abuse registry check
  • Driver's license
