Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Continuous Improvement Plant Engineer to join our team at Lassonde Food Service. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of our production processes, improving efficiency, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect and analyze data to identify areas for improvement and optimize production processes.
- Develop and implement control plans to ensure quality and efficiency.
- Maintain and improve the parameterization of production equipment to maximize productivity.
- Provide technical support to the production team and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Plan and lead continuous improvement activities, including cost reduction initiatives and process optimization projects.
- Study the profitability of improvement projects and provide recommendations to senior management.
- Suggest and implement new technologies to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Coach and coordinate internal resources to achieve business objectives.
- Participate in and lead the continuous improvement committee to drive cultural change and achieve business results.
- Collaborate with the production team to improve workplace safety and ensure recommendations and changes are implemented.
- Schedule and coordinate project meetings and conduct regular follow-ups on current projects.
- Act as a change agent to drive cultural change and achieve business results.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical, or industrial engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Continuous Improvement Plant Engineer or similar role.
- Experience with Lean tools, Six Sigma, and CI methodologies.
