Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Stationary Operating Engineer to join our team at St. Helen's Meat Packers Limited. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our plant equipment and systems.

Responsibilities:

* Complete and maintain accurate records, logs, and reports of plant operations
* Instruct and train apprentices in plant operations and maintenance procedures
* Assist in routine systems testing and troubleshooting
* Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement operation, maintenance, and safety procedures
* Monitor and inspect plant equipment and systems to detect malfunctions and ensure normal operation
* Perform routine equipment maintenance and repairs
* Write detailed reports of plant operations and maintenance activities

Requirements:

* 2 years of experience in a similar role
* College diploma or equivalent in a related field
* Strong knowledge of plant operations and maintenance procedures
* Excellent communication and training skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Work Environment:

* On-site work only, no remote work options
* Work setting: Food processing industry
