Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Occupational Therapist II to join our Community and Long-Term Care Services team at Northern Health Authority. As an Occupational Therapist II, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and promoting functional independence for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop treatment plans to address the unique needs of each client
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide patient-centered care and promote optimal health outcomes
  • Develop and implement programs to enhance client mobility, strength, and overall well-being
  • Provide education and support to clients and their caregivers to promote independence and self-management
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of best practices in occupational therapy
Requirements
  • Graduation from a recognized occupational therapy program
  • Current registration with the College of Health and Care Professionals of British Columbia
  • Valid BC Driver's license
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
