We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Physiotherapy Helper at HEALTHPLUS REHAB CENTRE. As a key member of our rehabilitation team, you will play a vital role in supporting our physiotherapists in providing exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Assist Physiotherapists: Provide support to our physiotherapists in conducting patient assessments, developing treatment plans, and implementing interventions.
- Prepare Equipment and Supplies: Ensure that all necessary equipment and supplies are prepared and maintained to facilitate smooth patient care.
- Process Claims and Documents: Process health insurance and workers' compensation claims, as well as maintain accurate records of patient rehabilitation progress.
- Support Patient Education: Assist our chiropractors in educating patients on their treatment plans and provide guidance on maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
- Perform Administrative Tasks: Manage routine office functions, including reception, telephone, and appointment scheduling, as well as maintain inventory and process files and paperwork.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year
- Work Setting: Rehabilitation centre and special health institution
- Computer and Technology Skills: Proficient in MS Excel, MS Office, and MS Windows
- Permanent Work Term: A stable and secure work environment
- English Language: A dynamic and diverse work environment with English as the primary language
- Hours of Work: 30 to 40 hours per week
