Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Insurance Agent to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, answering inquiries, and selling insurance products to clients. Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to clients, responding to their inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Insurance Sales: Sell insurance products to clients, including group and individual insurance packages, and provide information on policy features and benefits.
  • Education and Experience: Ensure that clients have the necessary education and experience to purchase insurance products.
  • Support for Persons with Disabilities: Participate in government or community programs that support persons with disabilities, and provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment.
  • Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Participate in government or community programs that support newcomers and refugees, and assist with their settlement needs.
  • Support for Youth: Participate in government or community programs that support youth employment, and offer on-the-job training and mentorship opportunities.
  • Support for Indigenous People: Participate in government or community programs that support Indigenous people, and provide cultural competency training to employees.
  • Support for Visible Minorities: Participate in government or community programs that support visible minorities, and apply hiring policies that discourage discrimination.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience an asset.
  • Language: English.
  • Hours: 35 hours per week.
