Your Role at Arc'teryx: As a Credit Management Associate, you will play a vital role in facilitating collection initiatives for our wholesale clientele. This involves engaging with customers through various communication channels to address and resolve issues that hinder prompt payments. You will assist the credit team in evaluating, granting, and maintaining credit and credit limits for accounts. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including internal representatives and shared services, will be essential in this position. About Your Future Team: The Finance team at Arc'teryx supports all business operations with financial management, resource allocation, strategic planning, and reporting. They ensure the protection of company assets and provide guidance to leadership on investment decisions and performance enhancements.

Key Responsibilities of the Credit Management Associate:

Contributing to the achievement of key performance indicators such as days sales outstanding and average days delinquent, with a focus on continuous improvement. Assisting in optimizing the balance between company sales and bad debt losses. Overseeing the collection process for overdue accounts to maintain reliable receivables. Addressing disputes with customers and internal departments related to receivables and risk management. Fostering strong relationships with customers, sales teams, guest services, and various corporate departments. Providing support to the global credit team as required.

Future Opportunities:

Participating in standard credit and risk assessments of our customer portfolio. Assisting in the development of a roadmap for existing and new processes. Offering insights to Credit Management regarding overall payment trends within the customer base and making informed recommendations.

Are You the Right Fit?

You possess 1-3 years of experience in credit management within a dynamic consumer goods environment. You are capable of taking initiative with minimal supervision. You have strong analytical skills and a solid proficiency in spreadsheet applications. You demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Your attention to detail is exceptional. Experience with SAP, Hyperion, and BI tools is advantageous. You may have experience in multi-platform, multi-currency settings. You are proficient in computerized accounting systems and Microsoft Office. You proactively identify root causes of issues and develop effective solutions. You are adaptable and flexible in ambiguous situations. You can balance independent work with collaborative efforts. You inspire innovative thinking and continuous improvement. You are committed to finding the best solutions, even when they are challenging. Your enthusiasm for your work is matched by your love for outdoor activities.

Compensation for this role is estimated between $59,000 and $74,000 CAD annually, based on factors such as job-related skills, relevant experience, and education. This estimate reflects base pay only and does not include additional bonuses and benefits offered by the company.
