The Speech Language Pathologist operates primarily in retirement home environments, with the option to engage in home care as part of the Home Health Services team, serving communities such as Burlington, Halton, Hamilton, and Mississauga. Caseloads can be tailored to fit full-time or part-time schedules. Provisional supervision is available for recent graduates. This position includes a Sign-On Bonus.

Essential Qualifications for Success

  • You are a registered member in good standing with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario.
  • Your focus is on embracing person and family-centered care.
  • You demonstrate passion, empathy, sound judgment, and critical thinking in client decision-making.
  • You are recognized for your exceptional communication skills and your ability to collaborate within an interdisciplinary team, as well as work independently.
  • You appreciate the vital role a therapist plays in enabling clients to remain at home when it is of personal significance.
  • You possess the ability to travel within the community as part of the CBI Health Home Health Services team.
