About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Payment Servicing Specialist to join our team at goeasy Ltd. As a Payment Servicing Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our financial services, including cheque processing, customer service, and data entry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and manage cheque batches, including tracking and following up on outgoing and returned cheques
  • Use Purolator for sending and tracking parcels and letters
  • Report on financials, including balancing general ledgers, data entries, and processing bulk batch files
  • Handle employee credit optimizer enrollment and customer-related enrollments
  • Process recurring visa debit payments and reversals
  • Manage goeasy tickets within our ticketing portal and provide excellent customer service and support to our retail network
  • Ensure systems are used to their full capacity and continuously seek improvements to increase efficiency
Requirements
  • 1-3 years of experience in the financial services industry in a related role
  • Intermediate experience working with Microsoft products, specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Basic accounting knowledge
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to think outside the box
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to meet critical deadlines
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to work as part of a team and independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to multitask and adapt to change
  • Exceptional communication skills (both written and verbal English)
