About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Payment Servicing Specialist to join our team at goeasy Ltd. As a Payment Servicing Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our financial processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and manage cheque batches, including follow-up with the AP department and branches.
  • Track and manage outgoing and returned cheques, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Utilize Purolator for the sending and tracking of parcels and letters, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Report on financials, including balancing general ledgers, data entry, and processing bulk batch files.
  • Handle employee credit optimizer enrollment and customer-related enrollments, providing exceptional customer service.
  • Process recurring visa debit payments and reversals, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Manage goeasy tickets within our ticketing portal, providing coaching and support to the retail network.
  • Ensure systems are used to their full capacity, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing changes to enhance efficiency.
  • Document and maintain processes and tasks, ensuring seamless operations.
  • Support management with day-to-day requirements and provide backup coverage to peers within the Central Administration Department.
Requirements
  • 1-3 years of experience in the Financial Services Industry, preferably in a related role.
  • Intermediate experience working with Microsoft products, specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Basic Accounting knowledge and analytical skills.
  • Ability to think critically and solve problems effectively.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to meet critical deadlines.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment and ability to multitask.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to adapt to changing situations.
