Key Responsibilities:
- Process rental quotations, reservations, and contracts with precision and efficiency.
- Establish new rental and sales accounts by serving walk-in and call-in customers with a smile.
- Negotiate prices on equipment rentals and contractor supplies in accordance with our pricing policies and procedures.
- Dispatch delivery trucks and manage customer expectations regarding delivery with a focus on timely and accurate service.
- Generate leads for new business and communicate with Outside Sales Representatives to drive growth.
- Warm call on lost and/or dormant accounts to retain business and build long-term relationships.
- Maintain a clean and presentable showroom, sufficiently stocked with merchandise to showcase our products.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the success of our branch.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience in a related field.
- Exceptional relationship-building and customer service skills, with a focus on delivering outstanding results.
- Strong ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for excellence.
- Excellent teamwork, interpersonal, and communication skills, with a collaborative approach to achieving shared goals.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record, ensuring safe and reliable transportation of equipment and personnel.
This position is deemed Safety Sensitive for purposes of United Rentals' policies and procedures.
