Key Responsibilities- Vehicle Operations: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to safety protocols.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Regularly inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment to ensure optimal vehicle condition.
- Logistics Coordination: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, ensuring seamless communication and efficient route planning.
- Cargo Management: Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption to maintain accurate records.
- Security and Safety: Ensure the safety and security of cargo by tarping and adhering to strict protocols.
- Certifications and Licenses: Possess an Air Brakes Endorsement and a valid Driver's License (Class 1 or A).
- Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment, requiring attention to detail, handling heavy loads, and sitting for extended periods.
- Experience: Willingness to train and adapt to new situations.
