We are seeking a highly skilled Warehouse Operations Manager to lead our Canadian Distribution Center Operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and driving KPI adherence, overseeing day-to-day tactical execution of order fulfillment, inventory control, quality assurance, site safety, and site facilities management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the WMS Enhancement Project for Freud Canada warehouse Operations
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement projects to enhance operational efficiency
  • Develop and drive KPI adherence
  • Provide feedback, coach, and develop team members to improve performance
  • Support a team atmosphere that embraces the Freud Vision and Mission
  • Ensure all Freud policies and procedures are enforced at all times
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Business, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or similar field
  • 7+ years' experience in logistics, SCM (Supply Chain Management), or distribution center operation
  • 3-5 years' experience in leading operational units
  • Extended knowledge in AS400 and WMS systems
  • Some flexibility in schedule required depending on production demands

  • Leadership - displays a strong drive for results and the ability to deal with ambiguity
  • Ability to prioritize in the face of ambiguity
  • Strong ability to effectively communicate both up and down the organization structure
  • Knowledgeable in all areas of Warehouse processes
  • Ability to coach and mentor team members
  • Demonstrated knowledge and ability to train others on Operations Processes and Procedures
  • Ability to input, analyze, and understand computer-based WMS system transactions
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Physical Requirements
  1. Incumbents will routinely be exposed to equipment operational noise
  2. Incumbents will be required to stand, sit, squat, walk, bend, climb ladders, move, reach, or stretch for prolonged time periods, as required by job duties
  3. Work in a safe and professional manner while adhering to all regulatory requirements (WSIB, OHSA, Provincial and Federal regulations, etc.)
  4. Pull, push, carry, lift, or move materials/people/items/equipment weighing up to 50lbs or more during the work shift, with the use of Company provided 'reach assistance technology' or 'movement assist technology' (fork-lifts, pallet jacks, pulleys, dolly's, people movers, etc.), as required by job duties
