Shift: This role offers a consistent schedule from Wednesday to Sunday, 5:00 PM to 2:00 AM, with potential for additional hours based on operational requirements.

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated full-time Production Manager to oversee our warehouse, plating, and fulfillment operations for our innovative meal delivery service. Reporting to the Associate Director of Production, you will lead a team focused on achieving safety, quality, adherence to plans, timely delivery, and efficiency in meal plating and order fulfillment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily operations for warehouse, plating, and fulfillment teams.
  • Foster a high-performance culture emphasizing customer focus, safety, quality, employee development, and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures and visual management tools to ensure a process-oriented operation.
  • Set and enhance targets for employee safety, food safety compliance, quality, accuracy, on-time delivery, and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with fellow managers to create production plans that prioritize product freshness and reliability while meeting distribution center targets.
  • Execute daily production plans, ensuring timely setup of teams, materials, facilities, and equipment, while proactively addressing operational challenges.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives by engaging team members in identifying opportunities and implementing effective solutions.
  • Comply with occupational health and safety regulations.
  • Utilize personal protective equipment as required and report any workplace hazards.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in Manufacturing or Supply Chain, with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety and food safety standards applicable to production environments.
  • Experience managing operational teams of 20 or more members.
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to simplify complex issues and implement data-driven solutions.
  • Authentic leadership style with the ability to build relationships and motivate teams.
  • Effective collaboration skills to empower team members and drive comprehensive solutions.
  • Enthusiastic and proactive attitude, comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated with a strong desire to make a positive impact.
  • Lean Six Sigma certifications are a plus.
  • Ability to work in varying temperature environments.
