Job Role: Administrative Receptionist - Part Time
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Upholds and enhances a favorable image of the office and the facility to residents, families, guests, external services, and the community. Acts as the Director of First Impressions during working hours.
- Manages incoming calls and initiates outgoing communications as needed.
- Executes clerical tasks as directed by various Department Managers.
- Processes payments from families and sells meal tickets.
- Oversees the front entrance to ensure the safety of residents.
- Undertakes additional responsibilities as assigned by the Office Coordinator and DOC Clerk.
- Complies with established departmental policies and procedures concerning quality assurance, fire safety, WHMIS, environmental standards, and infection control.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Candidates must possess outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, along with a professional demeanor.
- Familiarity and experience with office equipment are required.
- Strong organizational abilities are essential.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is mandatory.
- Availability during weekdays and weekends is necessary.
- Fluency in English is required; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
