About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Mechanic Assistant to join our team at S & A Industrial Maintenance L. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist Tradespersons and Apprentices: Provide support to our tradespersons and apprentices in their daily tasks, ensuring they have the necessary tools and equipment to complete their work efficiently.
  • Clean and Maintain Equipment: Clean and maintain machines and immediate work areas to ensure a safe and healthy working environment.
  • Move Equipment and Materials: Move tools, equipment, and other materials as required to support the maintenance team.
  • Work in Confined Spaces: Work in confined spaces, including areas with dust, odors, and noise.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • Work Environment: The successful candidate will work in an urban area, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Physical Demands: The role requires manual dexterity, handling heavy loads, and working under pressure.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication in this role.
