About the Role

Mekaniko Auto Services is seeking a skilled Mechanic Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements.
  • Diagnostic Services: Use advanced diagnostic tools to identify and repair complex vehicle issues.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that all clients are satisfied with the work performed.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with our team of technicians to ensure that all vehicles are properly maintained and repaired.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience in a related field is an asset.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Environment: Noisy, dusty, hot, and dirty work site environment.
  • Work Setting: Garage.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certifications: Tire, wheel, and rim mechanic certification.
  • Skills: Welding, diesel engines, hydraulic system, frame straightening, front end components, 4-wheel drive, standard transmission, fibreglass repair, engine repair, diagnostics, collision repair, auto body painting, auto body repair, automatic transmission, alignment, steering, and suspension, brake system, electrical and electronic system.
