We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at IKATTAR CONSTRUCTION LTD. as a key member of our construction team.
Key Responsibilities- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements and ensure compliance with building codes.
- Prepare accurate layouts and measurements using various tools to ensure precision and quality.
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials to create high-quality structures.
- Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems to meet construction standards.
- Fabricate and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware to ensure a safe and secure environment.
- Maintain, repair, and renovate residential and commercial structures, including wooden structures in various settings.
- Work in a fast-paced construction environment with varying temperatures and physical demands.
- Perform tasks that require bending, crouching, kneeling, and handling heavy loads.
- Work in a physically demanding environment with regular exposure to dust, noise, and other hazards.
- 1-2 years of experience in carpentry or a related field.
- Permanent employment with a regular schedule of 30-40 hours per week.
- Proficiency in English language.
