Construction Specialist

Job Summary
Cameco Corporation is seeking a skilled Construction 3 professional to join our team. As a key member of our underground construction team, you will be responsible for assisting with the organization and execution of all underground construction activities, including backfill and concrete placement, bulkhead building, ventilation work, and installation of backfill gantry and backfill plug.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the organization and execution of underground construction activities
- Operate various underground mobile equipment
- Work with a SCBA (self-contained breathing apparatus) when required
- Collaborate with the team to ensure safe and efficient construction practices
Requirements
- Minimum Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
- One to two years of relevant work experience in an industrial setting
- Good reading, writing, and communication skills
- Ability to understand blueprints
- Excellent safety and attendance record
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous underground experience
- Journeyperson carpenter's ticket
Working Conditions
Cameco's Northern Saskatchewan operations operate on a two-week on/two-week off rotational schedule. Employees commute to the site by aircraft from designated locations in Saskatchewan.
