Health and Safety Specialist Role

We are seeking a skilled Health and Safety Specialist to support the Tomlinson Group of Companies in ensuring a safe and healthy work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct site visits to assess and monitor health and safety hazards and develop strategies to control risks.
  • Inspect workplaces to ensure compliance with government regulations and industry standards.
  • Implement and enforce company health and safety programs, including training and awareness initiatives.
  • Investigate accidents and incidents, and develop corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
  • Provide health and safety advice and guidance to employees and management.
  • Collaborate with the Director, Health & Safety to develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • University or college diploma in Health and Safety or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of related industry experience.
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
