Underwriting Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Underwriting Specialist to join our team at Northbridge Financial Corporation. As an Underwriting Specialist, you will be responsible for underwriting and servicing complex accounts in accordance with established guidelines and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:- Underwrite and service complex accounts, ensuring compliance with established guidelines and business objectives.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with brokers and customers, providing exceptional customer service and support.
- Collaborate with the team to coach and mentor junior underwriters, sharing knowledge and expertise to drive growth and development.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, applying knowledge to drive business growth and improve underwriting practices.
- 5+ years of underwriting experience, preferably in the commercial insurance sector.
- Completed or pursuing CIP, FCIP, or RPLU designations.
- Strong customer service background and team-first mentality.
