AIG's underwriting teams help customers manage risk in various areas, including Financial Lines, Property, Casualty, Specialty Lines, Cyber, Multinational Clients, and High Net Worth individuals. We are transforming our operating model and reshaping role responsibilities and career pathways to unlock the full potential in each colleague.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform credit reviews and rating recommendations for large buyer portfolios and higher-risk buyers.
- Respond to underwriter requests for buyer reviews and present transactions to credit committees.
- Assist underwriters with new or renewal buyer portfolios and initiate buyer calls and/or visits as needed.
- Ensure rating coverage and aggregate limits for large buyer names and ensure all policyholders have been assigned a rating.
- Prepare and deliver training for local and global colleagues on credit and transaction analysis.
- 5+ years' credit risk and transaction analysis experience in a leading trade credit or equivalent organization.
- Experience with market-leading credit risk management portfolio techniques and tools.
- Understanding of trade credit/trade finance policies and their respective credit risk drivers and mitigants.
- Strong communication skills, written and oral, presentations.
- Organizational skills and project management.
- Interpersonal skills – team player with internal and external stakeholders/clients.
- Competitive base salary range: $81,000 - $109,000.
- Bonus eligibility in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan.
