Job Summary

We are seeking a Technical Sales Representative to join our Canadian divisions. The position will be located in our 2400 boulevard Lemire, Drummondville QC.

Key Responsibilities

  • Under the supervision of the Pyrotek Canada Sales Director, the Technical Sales Representative will be responsible for advising clients on refractory products.
  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Conduct market studies for refractory products in the designated territory, prepare, recommend, and implement a sales development plan.
    • Evaluate the best way to serve ISOMAG sales in the designated territory and make recommendations to the immediate supervisor.
    • Recommend ISOMAG pricing structures and marketing approaches to the immediate supervisor for the designated territory.
    • Coordinate ISOMAG sales activities from the steel division in the designated territory by guiding local agents (or Pyrotek business unit) in Pyrotek's technical and marketing approach. Coordinate sales with the technical department and customer service.
    • Plan business trips, schedule meetings, and prepare necessary logistics to be as efficient as possible.
    • Visit established clients with local agents to maintain current sales and/or expand ISOMAG sales to other applications.
    • Prepare visit reports covering the essentials of these visits, follow-ups, and commitments to be made.
    • Provide technical assistance with agents for installations during new trials in collaboration with local agents.
    • Create and maintain opportunities in CRM as well as evaluations of savings in projects.
    • Prepare commercial and technical offers including heat loss studies, energy savings studies, and return on investment. Assist clients in the evaluation process of real savings during trials. When applicable, provide a detailed report of the data and benefits obtained.

Requirements

  • Bilingualism (oral and written)
  • Strong sales focus, 4-5 years of experience in similar functions
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or other relevant field
  • Master of Office Suite, CRM, ERP
  • Spanish oral and written skills are an asset
  • Strong sales, technical consulting skills
