About the Role

As a Portfolio Underwriting Manager at Northbridge Financial Corporation, you will play a key role in overseeing the enhancement and expansion of automation rules within Commercial Underwriting. You will work closely with the Lead Portfolio Analyst to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for enhancements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and oversee the automation of Commercial Underwriting rules within Small Business across all Northbridge Financial brands.
  • Work with Underwriting and Technical Leads to ensure optimal practices and identify areas for improvement.
  • Review portfolios, conduct audits, and review automation rules to ensure underwriting intent is maintained.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve automation practices and maintain profitability.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of Property and Casualty experience.
  • Proficiency in operational procedures, workflow, and processing functions.
  • Working knowledge of other key functional areas, including Claims, Risk Management, and IT.
  • Team-first mentality with a focus on profitability.
