Job Summary

The Housekeeping Training Supervisor plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of housekeeping activities within the Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts establishment. This position is responsible for overseeing the training program, supervising housekeeping staff, and ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Training and Development: Develop and implement comprehensive training programs for new housekeeping staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to maintain cleanliness standards, address any deficiencies, and implement corrective actions.
  • Productivity Oversight: Monitor and evaluate the productivity of housekeeping staff, assist in performance improvement plans, and implement strategies to optimize efficiency without compromising quality.
  • Team Leadership: Foster a positive work environment, provide guidance and support to housekeeping staff, and lead by example, demonstrating professionalism and dedication to excellence.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee the inventory of cleaning supplies, guest supplies, and equipment, coordinate with the purchasing department, and ensure adequate stock levels.
  • Emergency Response: Respond swiftly and effectively in any hotel emergency or safety situation, and resolve customer complaints with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum of three years' experience as a housekeeper in a luxury hotel, preferably including experience at Four Seasons Montreal.
  • Language: Ability to read, write, and communicate in French and English.
  • Skills: Strong organizational and time management abilities, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
