About the Role

We're seeking a skilled Human Resources Consultant to support our national Claims team. As a key member of our HR team, you'll provide coaching, guidance, and advice on human resources management, ensuring compliance with legislation and company values.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide professional guidance and advice on human resources management, including talent management, performance management, and employee relations.
  • Assist with investigations, conflict management, and other HR-related issues.
  • Search and analyze data to recommend solutions to tactical and operational issues in human resources management.
  • Conduct exit interviews and analyze data to share with the leadership team.
  • Make salary recommendations based on compensation best practices.
  • Participate in the deployment of Business Unit initiatives and corporate programs.
  • Provide HR support to the HR Claims teams for Corporate & Atlantic Claims.
  • Contribute to HR process improvement.
Requirements
  • University degree in Industrial Relations or Human Resources Management with three (3) years of experience in human resources or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to evolve in a multi-site, matrix organization and in a constantly evolving environment.
  • Strong communication skills, ability to influence, and relational ease with all hierarchical levels.
  • Rigor, analytical, and synthesis skills.
  • Knowledge in many areas of human resources, including talent management, performance management, and employee relations.
  • CHRP and/or CHRL designation preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Suite.
  • For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required.
