Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and friendly Food Service Associate to join our team at Caraway Grill. As a Food Service Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service
    • Provide prompt and courteous service to all guests, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
    • Respond to guest inquiries and resolve any issues in a professional and timely manner.
  • Food and Beverage Service
    • Prepare and serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and efficient manner.
    • Recommend menu items and wine pairings to guests based on their preferences and dietary needs.
  • Cash Handling and Sales
    • Process cash and credit transactions accurately and efficiently.
    • Manage cash and credit sales, including handling cash drops and balancing the cash register.
  • Table Maintenance
    • Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs in a timely and efficient manner.
    • Restock supplies and linens as needed.
  • Teamwork and Communication
    • Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure seamless service and a positive guest experience.
    • Communicate effectively with kitchen and bar staff to ensure accurate and timely delivery of food and beverages.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
    • Experience an asset.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Must be of legal age to mix and serve alcoholic beverages.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
