Namaste Bistro, an East Indian restaurant, is seeking a skilled Server to join our team. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests.
Key Responsibilities- Present bills to customers and accept payment in cash, credit or debit cards, travellers cheques or room billings.
- Describe menu items including daily specials for customers, highlighting our signature East Indian dishes.
- Greet patrons, present menus, make recommendations and answer questions regarding food and beverages.
- Serve food and beverages in a timely and efficient manner.
- Take orders and relay to kitchen and bar staff, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
- Experience in the food and beverage industry is an asset.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of professionalism.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
- Availability to work 40 hours per week and adapt to a rotating schedule.
