Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Driver Salesmen/Women Supervisor to join our team at 9381-8995 Québec inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising a team of delivery drivers and ensuring the smooth operation of our transportation services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Manage Delivery Drivers
    • Oversee the daily activities of delivery drivers, ensuring they are meeting their targets and adhering to company policies.
    • Provide guidance and support to drivers to improve their performance and productivity.
  • Coordinate and Schedule Activities
    • Plan and coordinate the delivery schedules to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods.
    • Manage and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and customer expectations.
  • Ensure Health and Safety Regulations
    • Ensure that all drivers are aware of and adhere to health and safety regulations.
    • Conduct regular safety inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
  • Requisition and Order Materials
    • Procure and manage the necessary materials, equipment, and supplies for the transportation services.
    • Ensure that all equipment is in good working condition and properly maintained.
  • Train and Develop Team Members
    • Provide training and development opportunities to drivers to enhance their skills and knowledge.
    • Identify and address any performance gaps or areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
  • Experience
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in a supervisory role, preferably in the transportation industry.
  • Certifications and Licenses
    • Class 2/2F/C Licence (buses with more than passengers).
    • Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks, and other 2-axle vehicles).
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills.
    • Ability to train and develop team members.
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent travel and exposure to varying weather conditions.

Security and Safety

The candidate must undergo a criminal record check and possess a valid driver's licence.
