We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager, Field Operations to join our team at Rogers Communications. As a key member of our Field Operations department, you will be responsible for leading a team of field operations technicians to ensure exceptional customer service and experience.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and mentor a team of field operations technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with our customers and employees, ensuring that their needs are met and that they feel valued and supported.
- Identify and remove any barriers to the team or business, ensuring that we are operating efficiently and effectively.
- Manage and grow the business, including the roll-out of new products, processes, and tools, and identifying opportunities for improving business performance.
- Contribute to the delivery of an exceptional customer experience, handling customer escalations, monitoring work quality, and providing daily support to the team.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable Health & Safety regulations, conducting regular site visits to assess operational performance and address any challenges or concerns.
- Create, manage, and adhere to operational and capital budgets, ensuring that we are operating within our means and achieving our financial goals.
- Knowledge of CATV, CATV plant maintenance, construction, planning, installations, and service experience is essential for this role.
- Supervisory training and/or experience, with a strong track record of team building, is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills, including presenting ideas, public speaking, writing, and facilitating effective meetings.
- Strong decision-making skills and the ability to demonstrate good judgment.
- Goal-oriented and motivated, with the ability to work with the public and handle multiple tasks under pressure.
- Working knowledge of MS Office and Internet applications is required.
- Ability to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and statutory holidays.
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and be able to provide a driver's abstract annually.
