About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cook to join our team at Sushi Field Japanese Restaurant. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes, as well as training staff in food preparation and handling.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes, adhering to high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Train staff in food preparation, cooking, and handling techniques to ensure consistency and excellence in our dishes.
  • Order supplies and equipment to maintain a well-stocked kitchen and ensure efficient operations.
  • Maintain accurate inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment to optimize kitchen efficiency.
  • Clean and maintain a safe and hygienic kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Manage kitchen operations, including menu planning, inventory management, and staff supervision.
Requirements
  • 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a restaurant or food service environment.
  • Excellent culinary skills, with a focus on quality, presentation, and consistency.
  • Strong leadership and training skills, with the ability to motivate and guide staff.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and management.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, with a focus on efficiency, safety, and customer satisfaction.
