Kinark Child and Family Services is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Therapist to join our team. As a Clinical Therapist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality services to children and families.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and develop treatment plans for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other developmental needs.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive services.
- Conduct assessments and interventions using evidence-based practices.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with families and community partners.
- Stay up-to-date with current research and best practices in the field.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or related field.
- Current registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario (COTO).
- Membership in Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists or Ontario Society of Occupational Therapists is an asset.
- Minimum of one year work experience as an Occupational Therapist.
- Experience in assessing and working with pediatric clientele, with a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder is necessary.
- Familiarity with the Ontario Autism Program (OAP) and mental health experience is an asset.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility and adaptability in delivering services.
- Demonstrated clinical experience, proven communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Satisfactory Criminal Record Check (including a Vulnerable Sector Screening).
