Job Summary

Kara Hospitality Inc is seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Front Desk Hotel Clerk to join our team. As a key member of our front office staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests and ensuring a smooth and efficient check-in and check-out process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Registration: Register arriving guests and assign rooms in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Information Provision: Provide guests with information on hotel facilities and services, including amenities and local attractions.
  • Departure Processing: Process guests' departures, calculate charges, and receive payments in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain an accurate inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments to ensure optimal room utilization.
  • Clerical Duties: Perform various clerical tasks, such as faxing, filing, and photocopying, to support the front office operations.
  • Communication: Answer telephone calls and relay messages to guests and staff in a prompt and professional manner.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to guests, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced hotel environment, interacting with guests and staff on a regular basis.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
