About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Underwriting Manager to lead our commercial mid-market team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for managing underwriting activities and ensuring the successful delivery of our commercial insurance products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a team of underwriters to achieve business objectives and growth targets
  • Develop and implement underwriting strategies to drive business growth and profitability
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of commercial insurance products
  • Monitor and analyze underwriting performance to identify areas for improvement
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including brokers and clients
Requirements
  • Proven experience in underwriting management, preferably in a commercial insurance environment
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders
  • Ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of commercial insurance products
