Position Summary:

We are seeking a meticulous and committed Supply Chain Planner. The ideal candidate will possess a strong interest in supply chain management, an entrepreneurial mindset, and a sharp business acumen. In this position, you will oversee supply planning and inventory procurement. You will apply continuous improvement methodologies to meet key performance metrics, communicate long-term supply forecasts to Supply Chain Management in alignment with business growth projections, and optimize cost-to-service ratios.

Primary Responsibilities:
  1. Production Coordination and Procurement: Oversee production scheduling, procurement, materials management, and logistics coordination.
  2. Logistics Optimization: Reduce logistics costs while enhancing customer fill rates.
  3. Supplier Evaluation: Maintain performance metrics for relevant suppliers (both local and international) in critical areas such as quality, delivery, and cost.
  4. Inventory Oversight: Collaborate with other departments to minimize obsolete and/or discontinued stock.
  5. Strategic Projects: Identify opportunities and spearhead strategic initiatives and optimization projects across logistics and fulfillment functions.
  6. Process Enhancement: Regularly assess and refine supply chain processes to boost efficiency, lower costs, and support business expansion.
  7. Risk Assessment: Recognize potential supply chain vulnerabilities and devise mitigation strategies to ensure operational continuity.
  8. Team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and finance, to ensure alignment and support corporate objectives.
  9. Supplier Relationship Management: Cultivate and sustain robust relationships with suppliers to guarantee reliability, quality, and cost-effectiveness of materials.
  10. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all supply chain activities adhere to applicable regulations, standards, and company policies.
  11. Continuous Improvement: Apply lean principles and continuous improvement strategies to streamline operations and enhance overall supply chain performance.
Qualifications:
  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Business or a College Diploma/Certificate in Supply Chain/Sourcing focus and/or professional designation in Supply Chain or Operations.
  2. Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience with a proven history of success in supply chain, operations, and continuous improvement.
  3. Proficient in Excel.
  4. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  6. Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  7. Detail-oriented with the capacity to manage multiple tasks.
  8. Familiarity with supply chain management software and tools.
  9. Knowledge of industry best practices and emerging trends in supply chain management.
  10. Adaptability to changing business requirements and priorities.
