About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team at Bryce A. Clark & Associates Ltd. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Account Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Tax Preparation: Prepare and submit tax returns, including T4 statements and other required documents.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
  • Skills: Proficient in QuickBooks, Simply Accounting, and spreadsheet software. Strong organizational and communication skills.
Work Environment

This is a permanent full-time position, working 35 hours per week in an urban area. The ideal candidate will be a team player with a strong work ethic and a client-focused approach.
