About the Role

Villa Roofing & Sheet Metal Ltd is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeping Specialist to join our team. As a Bookkeeping Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing cheques for payroll, and ensuring the company's financial statements are up-to-date.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledgers.
  • Payroll Administration: Prepare cheques for payroll and ensure timely payment to employees.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
  • Accounting and Bookkeeping: Maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
  • Tax Compliance: Prepare and submit tax returns on behalf of the company.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in bookkeeping or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong attention to detail, accurate, organized, and excellent time management skills.
