About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeping Specialist to join our team at Cornerstone Security & Transport Inc. As a Bookkeeping Specialist, you will play a critical role in maintaining the financial records and accounts of our company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and other financial statements.
  • Accounting and Bookkeeping: Perform various accounting and bookkeeping tasks, such as preparing cheques for payroll, maintaining general ledgers, and posting journal entries.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports to management, including statistical, financial, and accounting reports.
  • Tax Compliance: Prepare and submit tax returns in a timely and accurate manner.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or a related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
