Lead Civil Engineering Technician

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Senior Civil Engineering Technician specializing in bridge and infrastructure projects. This role offers the chance to leverage your expertise in drafting and structural design within a collaborative environment. Our flexible hybrid work model allows for a combination of remote work and office presence.
Key Responsibilities- Contribute to the advancement of BIM/VDC methodologies in projects focused on the construction and restoration of bridges and related structures by collaborating with a team of engineers, drafters, and technicians.
- Develop comprehensive project mock-ups through modeling various elements of bridge or interchange designs.
- Create and prepare detailed models and plans for engineering structures.
- Facilitate interdepartmental coordination with CAD teams while adhering to the established quality assurance protocols.
- Assist in the preparation of technical reports and studies.
- Engage in the training and mentoring of junior staff members.
- DEC in civil engineering or a related field.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in structural engineering (including bridges and buildings).
- Completion of safety training for construction sites (ASP certification).
- Proficient in AutoCAD, BIM, and Revit software.
