Job Summary

CIMA+ is seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil Engineering Technician to join our team of experts in bridge engineering and design. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and support in the development of bridge projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Bridge Design and Development: Participate in the development of Building Information Modeling (BIM) and Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) processes for bridge projects, working closely with a team of technicians, drafters, and engineers.
  • Project Mock-ups: Create detailed project mock-ups by modeling bridge elements and interchanges.
  • Modeling and Planning: Develop and prepare models and plans for engineering structures, ensuring compliance with quality assurance systems.
  • Interdepartmental Coordination: Ensure effective coordination with CAD teams and other departments to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Studies and Reports: Participate in the preparation of studies and technical reports related to bridge engineering and design.
  • Training and Mentoring: Provide training and guidance to junior employees to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Qualifications
  • DEC in civil engineering or a related field.
  • At least 10 years of experience in bridge engineering and design.
  • Safety training on construction sites (ASP card).
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, BIM, and Revit software.
