Position Overview

Job Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing bedside and personal care
  • Administering medications as prescribed
  • Assisting clients with bathing and personal hygiene
  • Facilitating regular exercise routines
  • Changing non-sterile dressings and collecting specimens
  • Preparing and serving nutritious meals
  • Transporting clients to medical appointments
  • Offering companionship and emotional support
  • Performing light housekeeping tasks
Qualifications

Candidates must possess the following certifications:

  • Behaviour Management Certification
  • Geriatric Certificate
  • CPR and First Aid Certificates
  • Health Care Aide Certificate
