The role of the Enterprise Systems Analyst encompasses the implementation, administration, maintenance, support, and enhancement of the Firm's Enterprise Systems. This includes, but is not limited to, Aderant Expert, Expert Image, Chrome River, Prebill Viewer, Intapp Intake, Intapp Walls, and various custom solutions that require SQL proficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the ongoing functionality of financial systems by engaging in new projects, enhancing existing systems, ensuring system security, and assisting with system upgrades.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues related to application systems, software performance, and functionality.
  • Collaborate with Finance and Information Services Departments throughout all phases of the enterprise application lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, programming, integration, and testing.
  • Conduct data analysis to identify and resolve issues effectively.
  • Create and maintain documentation, training materials, and user development resources regarding the Firm's financial systems and data.
  • Develop, review, and maintain operational procedures, system processes, and internal administration documents relevant to the systems under your purview.
  • Evaluate, test, and assess the capabilities of enterprise systems as needed by Firm members.
  • Provide recommendations for optimizing the performance of enterprise applications.
  • Ensure data integrity and resolve issues related to enterprise applications.
  • Administer and monitor Financial Systems (including Aderant Expert, Control Systems, Chrome River, Expert Image, Report Manager, Intapp NBI, Intapp Walls, and other custom applications) to guarantee database integrity, system health, and operational efficiency.
  • Coordinate with finance and information services teams to assess IT needs and propose solutions that align with stakeholder requirements.
  • Manage technical projects within financial and information services, including task allocation to IS/F&A resources.
  • Handle sensitive materials and documentation with discretion.
  • Perform additional related responsibilities as necessary.

Position Requirements

Education and Experience

A University Degree in Accounting or Computer Science is required, along with five years of experience in financial systems or equivalent enterprise applications and databases, or a comparable combination of education, training, and experience. Experience in the legal or professional services sector is highly desirable.

Knowledge and Skills

  • Experience with enterprise financial and document management systems maintenance and support is essential, preferably within a professional services environment.
  • Proficiency in advanced Excel and SSRS or similar business reporting tools. Familiarity with Aderant Expert and financial systems in the legal domain is advantageous.
  • Understanding of accounting procedures, including budgeting concepts and finance principles.
  • Advanced skills in database reporting and report writing tools, along with a strong user-level knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and experience with system integration.
  • Ability to troubleshoot system issues and connect components across various enterprise systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with both technical and non-technical users for knowledge transfer and requirements gathering.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills to effectively prioritize multiple demands.
  • Project management experience, including client needs assessment, time estimation, task setting, and progress tracking.
  • Commitment to staying informed about advancements in relevant technology and databases.
