Job Summary

The School of Continuing Studies (SCS) at York University is a leading educational institution with a strong focus on international student recruitment and professional development. As a Business Systems Analyst, you will play a critical role in maintaining and operating systems to ensure quality customer service and support the school's operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement systems based on academic schedules to support student enrollment and course registration processes.
  • Provide technical support for critical operations, including student applications, course registrations, and system guidance.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to identify and implement system improvements and enhancements.
  • Develop and maintain system and process documentation using tools like Visio.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs and provide technical solutions.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT systems maintenance and support.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a systems analyst role.
  • Proficiency in enterprise applications, documentation, testing, and project management tools.
  • Experience with various programming languages and technologies, including Moodle and Salesforce/Dynamics.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to liaise between business and IT teams.
